Nice waterfall ride in the Carolina Smokies

Ride began in Hendersonville NC, winds through national forests and Blue Ridge Parkway. Includes many waterfalls along the way (Looking Glass, Slippery Rock, Graveyard Fields, Sequoia,Dry Falls and Bust-your-butt) which you can find locations online. The best one hands down is Dry Falls and is well worth the trip. This was a variation of the “Easy Waterfall Ride” you can find online with a google search. Variation caused by me taking a wrong turn and just going with it.

Bikes and Breakfast

Today we rode up to Palisades NY for their BnB! Great ride and great time! About 245 miles each way. We met at HD Baltimore, rode out at 0630. Including 2 pit stops we made it by 0939. So much less traffic that early!! Took me almost 5 hours to get home! Many older bikes, great meeting new riders young and old… the food at the 9W Market was excellent! I had an omelette with bacon and extra cheese, soooo good!
